The French rendered the same except. (a)(b)(c) have, 'adioignant.' (c) has, 'lisle?' (d) has, 'l'ile,' and 'D'Aroan.
Partira= will depart, will leave, depart, exit; also, separate, scatter, divide, split up. Adjoignant from Adjoinct. Adjoined; knit, coupled, allied, added; near to, close. Phalange=A four-square troop, or battalion of soldiers, ranked so as they may encounter the enemy on any side. Pliera= Will fold, pleat, bend, turn. Nombril= navel, belly button. Monde= The world, the universe; all visible things under the cope of heaven; also, a (world, or) great number of people. Voix= a voice, a sound, noise, tune, word, cry; an echo; talk, bruit, report. Subrogated, substituted, deputed, appointed to take the place of another.
The army (of) Ascop? Will depart from Europe, to join near the submerged isle the fleet of Arton, to bend the phalanx, at the navel of the world a greater voice substituted. delphi, famous for its Oracle, was considered by the Greeks as the Navel, centre of the world, as represented by the OMPHALOS= navel of the earth, and was also said to represent the stone which Rhea, wrapped in swaddling clothes, pretending it was her latest offspring Zeus, in order to deceive Cronus- time.
The army of Ascop from Europe departs,
Collecting itself near the flooded Iles:
Artons fleet will close ranks,
Navel of the world by greater voice substituted.
