The Quotes in this section are related to the works of Lux Nova and his studies and analysis of the Works and Prophecies of Nostradamus. Lux Nova provides separate themed books of Nostradamus Prophecies, each of which can be accessed in the Secret Vault. This Quote or 'Extract' if you prefer, draws reference from the following books by Lux Nova:
Ennosigee feu du centre de terre,
Fera trembler autour de cite neuve,
Deux grands rochers long t/eps feront la guerre,
Puis Arethuse rougira nouveau fleuve.

(a) has, 'long teps ferot,' with a ~above the e and o. (c) has, 'long temps,' (b) has, 'long temps ferot,''neufve,'and 'Arethusa.'
Ennosigee. Latin. Ennosigae. A title of Neptune = Earthshaker. Neptune was the god of freshwater and the sea in Roman riligion. He is the counterpart of the Greek god Poseidon. In the Greek-influenced tradition, Neptune was the brother of Jupiter and Pluto; the brothers presided over the realms of Heaven, the earthly world, and the Underworld. Neptune is the creator of horses and is the god of the sea as will as the owner of a powerful weapon, the Trident. Poseidon is the Greek Neptune and is one of the big three gods Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. He accidentally created horses when he had an affair with Medusa, and also created a girl who roams the seas as a pirate past the pillars of Hercules. Trembler= To tremble, quake, shiver, shake. Autour= About, round- about, in a round, to go around in a circle. Neuve, as Neufve. Feminine of Neuf= New, fresh. New, fresh; uncouth, strange, unknown, unused, unheard of, before. Rochers=rocks. Feront= Will make, cause, forge, form.
Arethusa=a mythical Greek river, Arethusa means "the waterer". In Greek mythology, she was a nymph and daughter of Nereus (making her a Nereid), who fled from her home in Arcadia beneath the sea and came up as a fresh water fountain on the island of Ortygia in Syracuse, Sicily. The myth of her transformation begins in Arcadia when she came across a clear stream and began bathing, not knowing it was the river god Alpheus, who flowed down from Arcadia through ilis to the sea. He fill in love during their encounter, but she fled after discovering his presence and intentions, as she wished to remain a chaste attendant of Artemis. After a long chase, she prayed to her goddess to ask for protection. Artemis hid her in a cloud, but Alpheus was persistent. She began to perspire profusily from fear, and soon transformed into a stream. Artemis then broke the ground allowing Arethusa another attempt to flee. Her stream travelled under the sea to the island of Ortygia, but Alpheus flowed through the sea to reach her and mingle with her waters.
Rougira= will redden, blush. Nouveau= New, fresh, recent; strange, rare; lately down, or made; unused, unheard of. Fleuve= Flood, stream, river.
Authors John Hogue, and Mario Reading have both manipulated the second line of this verse, by splitting 'Autour' to 'Au Tour' instead of, 'around', they render it as Towers, although the word is singular, not plural. And Jean-Charles de Fontbrune. Suggests the two great rocks, are Iran and Iraq, while Mario Reading. thinks it maybe the it involves the powers of Christianity and Islam, and the 911 terror attack on the twin towers of New York.
Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing.
'Chascun est sage apres le coup'
An after wit, is every bodies wit;
any man can tell, after a blow is given,
how it might have been avoided.
Such is the wisdom of the writers
on Nostradamus's work.
The problem is the second line has nothing to do with towers, even if the New City was New York. Also, we should consider that, Ennosigae, the Earth Shaker, is a title belonging to Neptune; and Neptune and his Trident Soldiers are mentioned in many verses (see Secret Vaults book on Neptune.) Also, we should ponder, why Nostradamus should introduce the Greek mythical river of Arethusa to the verse? The myth of Arethusa is difficult to discern. She certainly has a connection to the waterer, and as the Moon was anciently considered the original source of all water, there seems to be a strong connection to Artemis, who like Diana of Rome was a huntress, amongst others things. Nostradamus devotes a number of verses to a Macedonian character; thus. I suspect the verse is connected to Neptune, the Macedonian and a city which has yet to founded, and certainly has nothing to do with New York.
Earth shattering fire from the core of the Earth,
Will make the ground around the new city tremble:
And two great rocks will make war for a long time,
Then Arethusa (the Greek-s) will cause a new river of blood.
